A high-tech, high-torque powerhouse, each SL biturbo V8 is crafted by its own master in the AMG tradition. Paired with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9-speed, specific SL refinements to both engine and gearbox help rush the 469-hp SL 55 4MATIC+ to 100 in just 3.9 seconds, or the 577-hp SL 63 4MATIC+ in just 3.6 seconds. AMG DYNAMIC SELECT lets you fine-tune the throttle, shifting, damping, steering and more. Gets down, or up, to business
Standard AMG Performance 4MATIC+ intelligently apportions torque to all four wheels, an SL first. Multimode AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL, standard on the SL 63 and an SL 55 option, can actively adjust at each wheel to resist body roll. Goes all-in on steering
Standard rear-axle steering can turn the rear wheels up to 2.5 degrees, in phase with or opposite the fronts. Intelligent control factors speed, turning angle and other parameters for quicker, more stable handling at speed, or tighter, more nimble parking maneuvers.
Only its stamina is unstoppable

In 15 seconds, it Z-folds to form its own rear deck. All while taking up less trunk space than a folding hardtop.
2+2 seating, unequaled comfort
A 2+2 seating configuration adds up to versatility and luxury unmatched by previous SL cabins. The multicontour front seats feature power adjustment, heating, ventilation, and active massage programs. AIRSCARF neck warming helps lengthen the top-down driving season. All standard.
