The Mercedes-Benz Ice Garage
The concert was held in a custom-built ice garage, located on the shore of frozen Lake Winnipeg in beautiful Gimli, Manitoba. The ice garage was made from 88,000lbs of crystal clear ice, making it the most unique Garage Gigs venue to date.
“This is one of the coolest, and one of the coldest venues we’re ever going to play in.”
Said The Whale

Their music is pure west coast with naturalistic lyrics inspired by the water and mountains of their home town of Vancouver, British Columbia.
