The Mercedes-AMG GLA 35 rounds out the AMG lineup with a full range of body styles, in this case muscling up the nimble compact SUV. The GLA 35 packs a 2.0L four-cylinder turbo engine under the hood, generating 302 horsepower and transmitting that power to all four wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The GLA 35 is quite upfront about its newfound AMG credentials: The AMG-specific radiator grille grille is only the most obvious signal. Silver chrome trim, 19-inch 5-spoke wheels and the AMG spoiler lip on the rear roof are among other elements that deliver an aggressive first impression. Within the vehicle, unique AMG seat upholstery, contrasting red topstitching and carbon-fiber accents cradle the driver in an environment that’s as comfortable as it is modern.
The cockpit is also outfitted with all the latest innovations, including the MBUX infotainment system, 10.25” displays and a fully digital instrument cluster that carries three AMG-specific display styles. They combine to help focus the driver on the visceral thrill of piloting the GLA 35.
