In just one look, the new E-Class Sedan captivates the senses. It starts with the all-new front end, comprised of LED headlamps that come standard, a redesigned grille with chrome pins, and AMG body cladding for a sporty, yet elegant appearance. Even the tail lamps have been revamped to feature a new geometric design, while new colors and materials present upgrades both inside and out, and an expanded selection of wheels allows for greater customization.

Once it’s in “Drive,” you can find the latest generation of Intelligent Drive technologies available, providing cooperative support to drivers and resulting in an especially high level of safety and convenience. Take, for example, the intelligent hands-off detection which uses sensors in the rim of the steering wheel to determine if the driver is holding the wheel and initiate Active Emergency Stop Assist when needed. Also available in some E-Classes, are Active Steering Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC®, an adaptive cruise control system that automatically adjusts your speed for traffic ahead. In total, many of the driver assistance features offer a new level of automotive intelligence.

Adding to its progressive nature, the E 450 models have received a 3.0L inline 6-cylinder turbo engine with EQ Boost technology and a 48-volt onboard electrical system. The MBUX multimedia system incorporates Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality for Navigation, projecting graphics like arrows and house numbers directly onto the image. Plus, smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay® and Android AutoTM allow for seamless connectivity. And for all of its advanced features, the elegant comforts of the E-Class heritage remain standard, from heated front seats to the widescreen cockpit. It’s a complete rework of an automotive icon, and a fully-realized vision of the future of luxury driving.

The all-new E-Class Sedan will go on sale in Canada in early 2021.
