Compromise no more. The newest SUV from Mercedes-AMG offers the best of every world. With a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that offers 302 horsepower, plus an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8-speed transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive, the GLB 35 provides a driving experience unlike any SUV in its segment.
As soon as you take the wheel and press the pedal, the quickness and agility stand out. AMG DYNAMIC SELECT offers five drive programs – Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual – while the vehicle’s full acceleration potential is displayed with the standard RACE START function. The AMG suspension is tuned for high cornering abilities, low body roll and high comfort on long journeys, adding to its overall versatility.
And while performance is at its core, the GLB 35 also has the looks to show it. AMG-specific design features include the prominent front splitter, twin tailpipe trim, 19-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels, and a radiator grille used for the first time in a 35-series model. Sport seats in black MB-Tex / DINAMICA microfiber are accentuated with red topstitching.
After all that, the GLB 35 still offers the comfort and amenities of a luxury SUV. It’s spacious and well-appointed, with optional third-row seating that can accommodate the family or be lowered flush to the floor for additional cargo space. Up front, the MBUX infotainment system features a Widescreen Cockpit, AMG-specific displays and innovative voice control — activated with a simple “Hey, Mercedes.”
The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 will celebrate its world premier at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and go on sale in Canada by late 2020.
